Announcing the Association of Geohazard Professionals Committee Meetings at TRB

The Association of Geohazard Professionals (AGHP) will hold four committee meetings during the Transportation Research Board (TRB) 95th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC. The full conference will be held January 10 – 14. AGHP Committee Meetings will be held on January 11 at the Cambria Hotel and Suites, Washington, DC Convention Center. These meetings are open to all. Their times and meeting topics are listed below.

January 11 AGHP Committee Meetings Washington, D.C.

8:00am – 10:00am | Rope Access Committee | John Duffy Chair
The meeting will advance work on the development of a best practice manual.

10:00am – 12:00pm | Education Committee | Frank Amend Chair
The Education Committee will focus on defining terms for use by all AGHP committees for their procedure and report writing. This work will supply consistency not just to the AGHP but provide a model for consideration and potential incorporation into the general practice.

1:00pm – 3:00pm | Standards and Specifications Committee | Ghislain Brunet Chair
Punch test methods for simple, unsecured drapery systems will be discussed.

3:00pm – 5:00pm | Post Support System Committee |Tim Shevlin Chair
Surveys, committee participation, and crafting a white paper for framework will all be discussed as goals for 2016.
