2017 STGEC Call for Papers

The Georgia Department of Transportation would like to invite you to attend the 48th Annual Southeastern Transportation Geotechnical Engineering Conference.  This year’s Conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Savannah, Georgia. Below is the Call for Presentations form for those who would like to make a presentation at this year’s STGEC Conference.  All presentations should be submitted on or before September 29, 2017. CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS Southeastern Transportation Geotechnical Engineering Conference

Savannah, Georgia Hyatt Regency December 11 – 14, 2017

All presentations shall be in an electronic format and limited to 25 minutes in length. Please submit with abstract to the attention of Mary Cooley or Nicolas Sotolongo on or before September 29, 2017. Presentations will be chosen and speakers will be notified by October 13, 2017. The deadline to submit your presentation, if chosen, will be November 10, 2017.

Tuesday- December 12, 2017: Registration at Hyatt Regency (7:00-10:00) Technical Sessions (8:00-5:00) River Boat Cruise with Dinner (7:00-9:30)

Wednesday- December 13, 2017: Technical Sessions (8:00-5:00) Director’s/Steering Meeting (5:00-6:30) Reception at Hyatt Regency (6:00-9:00)

Thursday- December 14, 2017: Technical Sessions (8:00-12:00) Lunch on River Street (12:00-1:30) Field Trip to Georgia Ports Authority (1:30-5:00)
