A New AGHP Initiative
The AGHP Student Membership Program helps students gain free access to AGHP membership through company- and individual-sponsored packages. By removing the cost barrier, the program connects students with industry leaders, educational resources, and professional opportunities. Sponsors gain recognition for supporting the next generation of geohazard professionals—strengthening the connection between academia and industry.

How it Works
Purchase Student Memberships
Organizations and individuals purchase student memberships—either in bulk or individually—through the AGHP Student Membership Program. This initiative expands access to AGHP education, resources, and professional development opportunities for students in geohazard-related fields.
Choose Distribution Method
Participants choose how their purchased memberships are distributed. The AGHP can allocate them directly to qualified students through outreach and university partnerships, or participants may receive a unique coupon code to share with selected students.
Students Join for Free
Students redeem their code for a complimentary one-year AGHP membership, gaining access to professional connections, educational webinars, and opportunities to engage with leaders in the geohazard community.

The Association of Geohazard Professionals (AGHP) is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3). However, because AGHP is not classified as a charitable organization under Section 170(c), contributions are not tax-deductible for federal income-tax purposes. Consult your tax advisor for more information.

About the Student Membership Program
The AGHP Student Membership Program was created to expand access to professional development opportunities for students pursuing careers in geohazard-related fields. Through this initiative, companies and individuals can purchase student memberships, helping to strengthen connections between academia and industry while supporting the next generation of professionals.
All company packages and individual purchases directly provide student memberships at no cost to students. As the program grows, AGHP may also use proceeds to support additional student-focused initiatives—such as scholarships, travel grants, or student achievement awards—to further engage and empower emerging professionals in the geohazard community.
